Port Conflict: VMWare 8 Workstation vs. Apache 2 (XAMPP)

By default, when you install VMWare 8 Workstation and Apache 2 (or XAMPP), you can’t run these programs in same host. Both of them use port 443. So, when you have Apache 2 running, you can’t start VMWare 8 Workstation and vice versa. If you want to run both, you must tell one of them to not use port 443. In this post, I tell you how to make Apache 2  so Apache 2 doesn’t use post 443.

Apache 2 Configuration

1. Open your Apache 2 configuration directory (if you use XAMPP for Windows, the default directory C:\xampp\apache\conf)
2. Open extra folder
3. Edit httpd-sll.conf
4. Find all 443 and replace with 4430 (or else)
5. Restart Apache

Apache SLL module usually use port 433. By editing the Apache configuration, you can configure port usage. And now, SLL module use port 4430 (or else).

How to remove the virus – Cara menghapus virus

Download Process Explorer

Sebelum memulai menghapus virus, sebaiknya download Process Explorer terlebih dahulu di sini. Process Explorer adalah alternatif Task Manager yang telah diblok oleh virus. Walaupun mudah untuk membuka blok Task Manager, fitur yang ditawarkan Process Explorer lebih baik ketimbang Task Manager biasa.

Tuntaskan File Virus

1. Buka Process Explorer yang sudah di download tadi. Jalankan sebagai administrator. (Run as administrator)
2. Pada Process Explorer, klik “View | Select colomns…“. Pada tab Process Image, centang Command Line.
3. Sekarang Kill Process:
   %Windows%\l1rezerv.exe
%Windows%\sysdriver32.exe
%Windows%\systemup.exe
%Windows%\update.tray-2-0\svchost.exe 
   dimana %Windows% adalah direktori Windows berada. (Secara default di C:\Windows\)
4. Remove file-file berikut
   %Windows%\l1rezerv.exe
%Windows%\sysdriver32.exe
%Windows%\sysdriver32_.exe
%Windows%\systemup.exe
5. Remove file-file yang memiliki nama mirip seperti berikut di %Windows%\Temp: 13308175-loader2.exe, 68397_myunrar2.exe, bcdedit32.exe, 1094237.exe, 1120250.exe, 824919108.exe, etc.
6. Remove folder yang memiliki nama depan update* di %Windows%\, misal
   update.1
update2
update.3
update.5.0
update.7.1
update.tray-2-0
update.tray-2-0-ing
update.tray-8-0
update.tray-8-0-ink

Hapus Registry Virus

Buka Registry Editor (Start > Ketik regedit > [Enter]).

1. Buka key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   Remove item yang berkaitan dengan file-file yang dihapus tadi. Misal sysdriver32.exe dan systemup.exe
2. Hapus key berikut HKLM\SOFTWARE\sysdriver32.exe dan HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\srvsysdriver32.

Atur Kembali File HOSTS

Ketika Anda mencoba membuka facebook, Anda tidak dapat terhubung ke server facebook. Hal ini disebabkan file HOSTS telah dimodifikasi oleh virus sehingga ketika memasukkan http://www.facebook.com akan dialihkan ke 127.0.0.1.

1. Buka notepad dan jalankan sebagai administrator. (Run as administrator)
2. Buka file “%Windows%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts“
3. Secara default isi file host adalah

   # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
   #
   # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
   #
   # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
   # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

4. Hapus bagian yang tidak diperlukan. Virus menambahkan banyak baris kosong pada file hosts dan menambahkan juga baris berikut.

Anti-Virus Uninstaller/Removal Tool

Hampir semua komputer kita menggunakan anti-virus. Ada yang menggunakan anti-virus gratis-an (free), bahkan ada juga yang berbayar.

Setiap kali kita harus meng-uninstall anti-virus lama ketika kita ingin mengistall program anti-virus baru karena disarankan menggunakan sebuah anti-virus saja dalam satu waktu pada system kita, penggunaan lebih dari satu anti-virus dalam sebuah sistem dapat menyebabkan banyak masalah (issues) performa dan stabilitas.
Meskipun anti-virus lama dapat di-uninstall dengan Windows “Add/Remove Programs” tetapi tidak dapat menghapus program secara sempurna, sehingga dapat menyebabkan gangguan/konflik dengan anti-virus yang baru.
Lalu apakah kita dapat meng-uninstall anti-virus secara tuntas? Jawabannya adalah dengan menggunakan official uninstaller yang biasanya diberikan oleh vendor anti-virus. Tetapi mencari uninstaller anti-virus official bukanlah pekerjaan yang cukup mudah, karena itu diberikan daftar uninstaller/removal tool untuk beberapa anti-virus ternama.
Cukup jalankan program uninstaller dan ikuti instruksi. Restart system dan install anti-virus baru.
